Link the fulltone to an Aguilar ToneHammer,MXR 6 band EQ plus and a BBE OptoStomp and you got yourself a home made bomb!!!! It was noisy and beautiful...but later during the game when louder volume was required (say a gig)...it was a true nightmare, constant high pitch feedback was simply annoying. So I researched (just like you are doing right now)...and found myself reading the same name over and over, review after review on noise gates.....ISP DECIMATOR....so in a leap of faith (usually it is when buying based on reviews AND NOT ONE DECENT video on the Tube).I bought the DECIMATOR and....AMEN...now I can play as LOUD as I want and it's totally controlled. Cero effect on my tone, true bypass, no color added, plain and pure NOISE GATE.

NO MORE HUM/HISS, January 24, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ISP Technologies Decimator Noise Reduction Pedal I had a lot of noise coming out of my amp when I would turn my volumes up loud enough to play over a drummer. It was really bad. Through trouble shooting my pedals I determined that most of it was coming from my TS9DX. I have a few other Boss pedals that were each putting out a little bit of extra noise but combined with the TS9 I had a really bad problem.
To be honest, I thought this pedal was only going to help reduce my problem and I was okay with that because I needed any help I could get but it completely fixed my noise problems. Now I am not going to lie to you, there is a price to pay for no noise. When I turn the threshold knob up to the point where I get no noise, it starts reducing the volume of my guitar which in turn starts effecting the tone. If I allow slight but barely noticeable noise to get through, then I can get my guitar signal through unaffected. This is with my amp cranked up on 8 or so and I would never ever play with my amp this loud. I usually play... Read more
